Greensboro, NC Q1 Operations & Strategy Update:
Pivoting Through Transition and Building for the Future
Team,
The first quarter of this year has been a unique period of transition for us. Parting ways with the HAECO accounts put a noticeable strain on our revenue potential. It also placed a heavy operational burden on our team to clean up and reconcile the remaining inventory. Settling this account over the past year has often felt like we’ve been in limbo—waiting for the dust to settle so we can fully commit to our next chapter.
I want to thank all of you for your patience and hard work during this challenging stretch. While it hasn’t been easy, it has given us a clear opportunity to rethink how we move forward.
Evolving How We Grow
For years, our sales approach relied heavily on cold calls and door-to-door tactics. While we gave it our all, those methods rarely opened the doors we needed. We are changing that. Moving forward, our growth strategy is focused on the genuine relationships we’ve built and maintained over the years.
Our deep roots in the aerospace sector are proving to be a massive asset. Following AAR's acquisition of HAECO Americas, many of our longtime contacts moved on to new organizations across the industry—companies we’ve been trying to partner with for years. Over the last few months, those familiar faces have started reaching out to us for quotes and supplies. They know the caliber of work Haggard & Stocking delivers, and they want to bring that same reliability to their new employers. It’s a testament to the trust you all have worked so hard to build.
Strengthening Supplier Partnerships
We are also unlocking new doors by locking arms with our suppliers. We are currently collaborating with one key partner to build a mutual customer base. They manufacture incredible products, but they don't offer the comprehensive services we do—especially our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and vending solutions. By teaming up, we are finally getting past the gatekeepers at accounts that used to be out of reach. We are still in the early stages of this partnership, but the long-term vision is incredibly strong.
Celebrating Our People
On an internal note, please join me in congratulating Dalton Atha, who handles our warehouse and deliveries. Dalton recently celebrated his 7th anniversary with Haggard & Stocking! Dalton, thank you for your years of dedication, your reliability, and for keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Thank you all for your continued dedication to our vision and to each other. Let’s keep pushing forward.
